CHURCH MARRIAGE AND THE SINGLE CHRISTIAN (FINAL)

             By the time Mary was done talking her mother was so cold that she lacked words to reply her all her mum kept doing was opening her mouth and closing it, Mary's mom was too  shocked to believe all Mary had just said she kept her eyes fixed on Mary like she was not sure she was looking at her daughter whom she bore and brought up, after a while she knew she had to break the silence but she was not sure of what as Mary''s face was all shades of seriousness and all Mary''s mum managed to say was Mary's full name, Mary Abimbola Bamidele.

           The truth is that Mary's mum had always known inside of her that Mary has never welcomed the idea of settling down in the family church but what she did not  know or imagine was Mary having the courage to say it to her face  but at this point it became obvious that reality has set in and unlike other times Mary did not run off as usual she was able to face her mum and finally have the sacred discussion . 

             At this point Mary felt like a heavy burden has just been taken off her shoulders she so relieved as she danced inside of her heart while she made sure to keep a very serious look on the outside as a defense mechanism that would make her mum  know that she was not joking  and she indeed succeeded...

                After calling Mary by her full name she took several deep breaths before managing  to first of all apologize to Mary for trying to impose such an important decision on her as she also further went to tell Mary to be careful since she had decided to look outside buh must do that in all form of  physical and spiritual alertness because of too many doctrines out side. she also told Mary that the plenty wrong doctrines had being one of the reasons why she had also insisted on the family church but since Mary, mind was made up all she owed her was prayers, of course mary couldnt be happier as she finally had to tell her mu about peter......

               The World blood donor is observed on the 14 of June every year, The event was established in 2004.  It serves as a means of creating awareness for the need of safe blood and blood products and to thank blood donors for their voluntary life saving gifts of blood.

                          Enough of the thoughts mary said to herself maybe it was time to face her fears  and finally have to address the marriage talk between she and her mother, maybe she has to finally fault her's claim that her job has been holding her down from having a man in her life beacause she has been waiting for this conversion too to also make her mom realize she could get a single christain from outside the family church a sudden chill came upon her beacause she  somehow knew she was ready to stop deceiving herself about buying into her mother's ideology, infact am ready for this unavoidable visit oh am so ready for mum she said to herself.

              By the time mary properly entered the house properly her mum had already called out her name to be sure she was the person that entered the house and the funny part was that it was at that point mary finally came to the  reality that her mother was actually in the house, buh her mind was made up  as she was more than ready on seeing her mum they hugged each other as they exchanged pleasantries and worked  on the meal together, soon dinner was ready and by that time they had both freshened up and took to enjoying their meal as they talked about every other thing asides the sacred topic, when dinner was almost over Mary's mother told her they had to talk mary smiled as she had been waiting for that conversation.

            Mary, her mother started by calling out her name, I purposely came on a weekend so that even if we finish this discussion tonight we would still have two more days to go because you don't work on weekends, maybe I have never really asked you what the problem is why u don't want me hold your children before I die eh Mary, if I tell you to come to church u will say you are an adult and can worship on your own meanwhile Yetunde and your other friends still come to the family church and as you correctly know Ella worshipped and married in the family church like wise Bisi and Chinenye and as you rightly know Yetunde is preparing for her wedding, they are also enjoying their marriages because their husbands are  Christians , so what is your problem?

             Mother  first of all you don't live with them in  their houses so cant tell whether they are enjoying their marriages, Mother u knowing a man in church most times does not even really guarantee you  that he is child of God Mother most people go  to church but their hearts are so far from God, ever wondered why Bisi keeps having miscarriages, well domestic violence heavy drinking from  husband yet in church he is seen as a good brother , Ella is always on dark shades because of the same domestic violence they were made to believe that worshipping in same church from childhood guaranteed them a happy home as man and wife they did not bother to properly get in good courtship, they did not study each other really good and am also sure that they also took prayers for granted they did not bother about compatibility, Mother the truth is that most times some things can even be sorted out by common sense buh they were so blind about it, Then about me mother work is not the reason am still  single  it is you I don't buy the idea marrying in the family church am not saying there are no good men there that is not just what I want God knows that , Mother just allow me make this decision it is a life time thing plus am the person in it and I know what I want.................

               As mary got home from work she sensed that someone was already in her apartment and her suspicion was further confirmed when her nose caught the tasty aroma coming from kitchen, damm she could tell her mother was around and a thousand and one thoughts raced through her head at once maybe she should be happy that she was with her mum whom she had not seen in a while or she should be happy about  having company as she sometimes felt lonely when she was home after work, then she suddenly remembered how perfect her mother's visit would have been if it was during the early days of the week like a Monday or a Tuesday because her visits are never more than 3days where she could conveniently escape the sacred marriage discussion by saying they would talk in the morning knowing deep down in her heart that she would either sneak out of the house or just run off to the office  as she has said she would only stay with her for more than three days until mary got  in to her husbands house but Mary's frustration right now is the fact that this particular visit was on a Friday and she would have no excuse to give when her mum who would want to have that conversation she was always scared of because it was a weekend, she no office to run to plus she also had no early day start off .

                 For mary she was already getting frustrated because the good men were no where in sight coupled with fact that her mother was on her neck constantly reminding mary of her age plus the fact that she is insisting that mary must marry from the family church because that way she would be sure of the person's Christian faith  but mary does not share in that light mary believes that she can still get a true child of God outside the family church but Mary's love for her mother would not let her protest her mother's stand thus making it more difficult to even want to have the sacred marriage discussion.

              But Mary's mother would not stop talking and telling mary how she had already birthed all her children at Mary's age, adding that Mary's  working too hard is the reason why mary is still single and unable to give her grand children. but mary knew that work was not the reason she was still single.......

              
                                                                 

TOBI'S DILEMA 2

 

                In 30 minutes Tobi was ready to go his interview and feeling more relaxed and confident cause he now knows better he even got to his destination with ease as he had been there the previous day to make sure of the venue so as to be familiar with the root.

                   Tobi got the venue 30 minutes earlier for his interview and he felt vey good with himself as his spirits began to sour high and his made him really relaxed with himself, soon the interview began and it got to his turn as he entered the room he was all smiles as he got different compliments like ''tobi you look good''  ''nice dress sense tobi' '' tobi you look impressive show us what you have got''.
               In no time tobi was done with his interview and for some reasons unlike his interviews in the past he was feeling really good with his self, for once he felt hhe had done something right maybe because he was bold, better in appearance, worked on his C.V. yes he has done all these things mentioned above including his being more poised , initiative unlike the past when he was always moody and uptight and straight yes and no answers in his past interview he basically had to sell his self as  P- SENSE Nigeria thought him to thus making him land his dream job.
